Green Loonternby ~Skeleman

Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Cross Stitch & Embroidery

A cross stitch of Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers as a Green Lantern I did way back in 2007. This was inspired by an episode of the Duck Dodgers cartoon entitled 'The Green Loontern' in which the dry cleaners get Dodgers' and Green Lantern Hal Jordan's clothes mixed up and Dodgers ends up with Hal's ring. It's a great episode with Dodgers even making up his own oath:

In blackest day or brightest night
Watermelon, cantaloupe, yadda-yadda
Erm...superstitious and cowardly lot
With liberty and justice for all!

I tried to stitch GL once and never could decide on the correct greens to use. Granted mine was not a one colored toon. Mine was going to be detailed. And DMC floss has a crap load of green. I eventually gave up after frustration set it.
